On this occasion, SYAAT proudly celebrates its social commitment. Over the years, supporting associations with various causes has been a key pillar for the company. This time, we had the honor of supporting Florecer Casa Hogar by providing scholarships for the development of children and youth. SYAAT’s contribution aims to strengthen Florecer’s programs, which seek to offer comprehensive education and opportunities for a brighter future.
We had the opportunity to interview some of the teenagers who participated in a scholarship program that taught them how to care for small companion cats. This initiative helped them understand the value of responsibility, learn about savings, and grasp the importance of caring for animals, as well as aspects of cleanliness and first aid for the cats. Most importantly, this experience equips them to explore self-employment opportunities in the future.
Two of our scholarship recipients, Estrella and Angel, shared how this program has impacted their lives. Here are their stories:
Estrella’s story
Estrella, a talented and ambitious girl, participates in several workshops offered by Florecer Casa Hogar. Thanks to the support she receives, she has been able to acquire practical skills, strengthen family relationships, and gain early economic development through savings and responsibility, all crucial for her future.
In her testimony, Estrella shared that participating in the experience as a companion cat caretaker exceeded her expectations. She learned how to save money, help her mother, and understand micro-dosing to improve the health of both cats and humans.
She expressed her readiness to venture into the world of self-employment and her excitement about participating in more scholarship programs to learn about this or other fields.
Angel’s story
Angel is another young beneficiary who has fully embraced the opportunities provided by Florecer Casa Hogar. With access to scholarships and educational resources, Angel has developed not only technical skills but also a sense of belonging and hope for a prosperous future.
In his interview, Angel shared how these workshops and educational opportunities have helped him discover new personal goals. Happily, he recounted learning a lot about caring for the cats and his excitement about the idea of working. This aligns with SYAAT’s mission: to inspire children to see opportunities and face the future with confidence, fostering excitement about growth and development from an early age.
